Obituary for Annie Mae Monroe

Annie Mae Monroe was born to Robert Davis and Allene Baker on April 27, 1928, in Willacoochee, Georgia. She was married to Robert Monroe, Sr., who preceded her in death.
She was employed as a caregiver and domestic worker for many years. She was a member of Royal Temple FME Church where she served as President of the Steward Board, and Treasurer of the Usher Board for over 30 years. She was a great Sunday School Scholar, attended Bible Study’s and Ushered for the Community Fellowship Services.

She was a member of the "Fun Group Under Ninety” at the Chisolm Center, and attended Community Noon Day Bible Study on Wednesdays.

On December 11, 2018 God looked down from above and saw a faithful follower whom He really loved. She departed this life on December 11, 2018 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law.

She leaves the following love ones to cherish her life. A loving and devoted daughter, Erlene Turner(Jerome), Two grand-daughters, Gwendolyn Denise Kelly and Natalie Denise Kelly (Fort Lauderdale, Florida), Six great-grand children, DeWayne Jones, Jr (Atlanta, Georgia)., Calvin Lee Wilson III, Reginald Lemar Wilson, Nigel Lacelles, Charity Denise Kelly, Ashari Floyd. Eight great-great grands, Camille Jones, Tyrek Hall, Kevin Wilson, Da"Nize St. Fluer, Krystain Jones (Atlanta, Georgia), Oreonna Knowles, Na"Shaun Wilson, and Za"Ryah Rachel (Fort Lauderdale, Florida)
Special Cousin, Sandra Lewis(John ) Nashville, Georgia and Hazel Cusack Nashville, Georgia.

Daughters and Sons by choice Robert Gillislee, Eddie Nealy, Andrew Holmes, Diane Stovall, Lula Bell Cody, and Roderick Fludd. Spiritual Sister, Altamese Gordon.
