Obituary for Roy Lockette

Roy Lockette was born in Plains, Georgia on, June 25, 1940, to the late Henry Gilford and the late Annil Renders.
He was married to Ollie Lockette on October 28, 1988 (lived together for 15 years prior to being married). To this union, they had four sons and one daughter, one son preceded him in death, Ellis J Moore.
He joined No Limit Praise Tabernacle where he was ordained Senior Deacon.
Deacon Roy Lockette was a life-time agriculture worker. One of his greatest memories was being a childhood friend to Retired President Jimmy Carter.
On September 30, 2020, Senior Deacon Roy Lockette was called home to be with the Lord.
Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Wilford Lockette (Carrie), Plains, GA., Mose Hawkins (Lesia), Orange City, FL., Royce Moore (Rita), Deland, FL, and a daughter, Shandella Moore and one daughter in law, Claudia Moore.
He also leaves brothers, Eddie Lockette (Jennifer), Albany, GA, sisters, Annie B. Stewart (Charlie), Leslie, GA., Lorene Dodson (Willie), Plains, GA., Jocquelin Green (Alton), Cuthbert, GA., Jo Ann Gilford, Americus, GA. He was preceded in death by one brother, Wilbert Gilford, Americus, GA.
He will be missed by a host of other family and friends.
